Grayson County offers abundant leisure activity of all kinds.
     

The Grayson County Library (270-259-5455), established in 1976, features more than 45,000 computer-catalogued volumes, five computer workstations, and a public meeting room available for free use.

The library has an extensive selection of genealogical materials and sponsors tiny tot and preschool story hour programs.

The library, located at 130 E. Market in Leitchfield, operates 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. the rest of the week while closed Sunday.

The library provides countywide bookmobile service twice monthly.

Dozens of civic clubs and organizations are active in Grayson County offering opportunities for all ages to participate in community and cattlemen’s clubs, political, historical, homemakers, artists, quilting, retirees, political, youth, veterans’ organizations and so much more.
